Sabrient Systems
Sabrient Systems, LLC is an independent firm specializing in fundamentals-based, quantitative equity research. Sabrient's proprietary methodology, developed by industry pioneer David Brown, quantifies a company's fundamentals, such as P/E ratio, historical earnings, earnings growth, consensus analysts' EPS estimates, balance sheets items, and insider trading, as well as momentum and group strength factors.

Using these quantified fundamentals, Sabrient employs multifactor filters and sophisticated algorithms to analyze almost 6,000 U.S.-traded stocks weekly and identify which stock characteristics are most predictive in the prevailing market. The system then ranks the stocks according to how well they reflect those characteristics but are not yet fully rewarded. Then a Sabrient rating of Strong Buy, Buy, Hold, Sell, and Strong Sell is given to each stock.

The result is that Sabrient's research is unbiased and free from the whims and agendas of individual analysts but at the same time reflects qualitative factors used by traditional analysts.

David Brown
David is the founder, director and chief market strategist for Sabrient. A lifelong investor, David designed and developed the critically acclaimed stock search program, ProSearch, and the market timing indicator, the Brown Breakout Ratio (BBR).

He has edited several market letters, including the Undervalued Growth Report, a real-money portfolio which he published for 10 years with a record of nearly 20% compounded annual returns and no loss years.
